Part of my exploration has pushed me toward playing with texture as a contrast to the limited colour palettes that do work with this clay.

The rutile brown tones from #Maycoglazes Stoned Denim dropped out mostly when applied over Green Opal as a base (all on #plainsmanclay m340). I quite like this - brightens things up and calls out for spring.
