Closeup of a bottlebrush shrub that is blooming. The blossoms look just like what their name implies: red bottlebrushes. There are small yellow bits of pollen on the tips of the "brushes." The leaves are long, thin ovals and a light green. There are pods that are pre-bloom and pods that are post-bloom. They are about the size of a small pea and are clumped along the main stem.
