Our Bradford pear tree sustained damage in the storm last week, and will be removed tomorrow.
My tree guy texted and said that he could come over tomorrow and remove the remaining part of our broken tree.

This is the pile of tree branches and logs from the broken tree truck. It is on the unused half of the driveway.
The tree debris waiting in the driveway for removal from the clean up.
This is the remainder of the Bradford Pear tree. It isn’t looking good. The part where I had threaded steel rod installed held together. But the part that was just cabled broke away. I don’t see the tree living after this damage.
I and my wife, along with neighbor, Mark, made short work of the broken tree clean-up.

This will effectively start to kill the tree, which is an invasive species whose blooms can smell like dirty diapers or semen.
