I really don't like the ending of this book at all. The TV version was very clear that Liz didn't know what the Brigadier was about to do. The novel changes the final scenes and makes it so that Liz was complicit in lying to the Doctor. A very odd choice #CaveMonsters

This book is definitely making the effort to show scenes from different perspectives (including the Silurians). Every scene is told from the perspective of a particular character and that is definitely working for me #CaveMonsters

Like the human characters, the Silurians are really fleshed out here. Not only do they have names, they have backstory and relationships with one another. Seeing the world from Morka's perspective makes a refreshing change #CaveMonsters
