Oregon’s sea level forecasts more accurate than many around the globe, scientist says The Cascade Subduction Zone affects where the ocean meets the land, and that land is rising in some parts of the Oregon Coast.

A network of tide gages give consistent measurements of where the #ocean meets the land here on the U.S. West Coast, but the #Cascadia Subduction Zone pushes that land higher in some places.
