Here in my #SweetHomeChicago, husband has encased our windows & glass doors in plastic. Our faucets are all dripping cold water & the closets/cabinets containing our pipes are all open in the hopes that they don’t freeze! Found a skyline made of ice at the Chicago lakefront today. If you’re wondering how these might form, my theory is they start hanging in breaks and openings along the lake walls and then are broken off by powerful waves and throw up onto land
