Dec 4, Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure of seeing Shakespeare's Pericles performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater! Thanks again to Paul Adrian Fried for posting about its being there, waking me up to the opportunity of seeing it again. Well worth the 300 mile drive from north of Detroit. (Saw an excellent performance too of Pericles in 2016 at the Stratford Festival in Canada.) The RSC gave a powerful rendition of the play. Many outstanding, great actors... I especially liked their dramatic use of Tableau, with several actors, a few times, at the back of the stage.
