A fantastic pair of auspicious antique Chinese export silver Buddhist wedding bracelets. Entirely handmade hand repoussage (each is a little different), and with incised details at fronts - each is 3.75” wide at top, and fits up to a 7.5” wrist presently, and the pair weigh over 5 ounces!

A complex design featuring at center a Buddha sitting on a lotus flower which represents purity, enlightenment, and detachment from the material world, mirroring how the flower blooms untainted from muddy water. The seated Buddha has a hood of snakes symbolizing divine protection, deep spiritual wisdom, and transformation. This imagery is rooted in the Buddhist legend of Muchalinda, the Naga (serpent) King who protected the Buddha from a violent storm for seven days following his enlightenment. At either side of Buddha are roaring dragons (unseen in this photo) which symbolize power, strength, prosperity, and good luck.

an ANTIQUE early 20th century Chinese export handmade sterling silver Chinoiserie Pagoda and Dragon design ring. Suitable for a man or a woman! Intricate design with incredible detail! A highly detailed pagoda design at top, with another pagoda on one side, and on the other a roaring dragon! Pagodas are an important part of Chinese culture, representing Buddhist teachings and serving as monuments to Buddhist relics and monks. They are also a symbol of the country's architectural heritage. In Chinese culture, the dragon is a highly significant symbol representing good luck, strength, power, prosperity, and is often associated with the masculine energy "Yang"; considered a benevolent creature, unlike the fire-breathing dragons of Western cultures, it is seen as a bringer of rain and bountiful harvests, making it a symbol of positive forces like leadership and success. Measures 7/8" long at top, size 10 US, and weighs a hefty 15 grams total. Marked "Sterling" inside band as shown. Most likely from Hong Kong which was at the time a British colony, but made for the European market, thus sterling silver not the usual 900 silver for most Chinese export. This ring has been much loved and much worn, and has the battle scars to prove it, but nothing that is in the least noticeable when worn, and just visible when under magnification like in my close-up photos. Overall very good antique condition with the above caveats.
