I used the #closetCore trouser class to sew my first pair of Mitchells. When the time comes to cut the fabric for the welt pocket scary music plays. 😂

Not easy to photograph, but I finally finished the Mitchell Shorts by Closet Core that I started last year. Made these in Essex linen. When I started them they were too snug, now they’re too loose. Ah, bodies! 😂 #garmentsewing #sewists #closetcore

Since I posted me wearing the jacket I made this fall, I thought I’d share some of the details. The fabric is a fantastic wool with a nylon outer. I added a ½ lining with silk, lots of piping and Hung Kong seams. #closetcore #siennajacket. It’s super warm so I’ve worn it a lot in our frosty winter.
