Bufo bufo—the common toad
Toads don’t hop; they crawl. They move with the heavy, methodical gait of someone who knows they are technically poisonous and therefore don't need to run from anyone.
They have parotoid glands behind their eyes that secrete bufotoxins

A pair of common toads I found recently! They are mating and stay together like this for up to 24 hours! The smallest one is the male and he clings onto the larger female's back when she lays her eggs he will fertilize them.
