A futuristic vintage 1960s conceptualist abstract modernist acrylic painting on art board by California artist Tom Taylor aka Thoss. W. Taylor (as signed at back). This painting was done very early in his career during his 'Hollywood' period, and he later went on to become very famous for his wildlife and nature-themed artwork. Signed at back in pencil as shown. This acrylic painting is on two pieces of paper that are glued onto a rectangular mount art board, then this is slipped into a custom-made acrylic frame with clear plexi front, and with a rectangular wood frame loosely inserted behind - no doubt the frame etc was custom-made by the artist to house this specific artwork. Although it's showing some wear, I've left it as it is because I'm sure it's original and it complements the artwork. Measures 15-1/4" by 20-1/4" with the frame etc. Excellent vintage condition.
