This corset is 5yo this month! 😱
I made it back in 2020 in plague times when I had lots of time to experiment & play with unusual techniques. This is the result of a challenge I took just for fun ✨ & did it pay off!

Here I use a hole cutter to make holes, later I switch the dies with eyelet dies and install the eyelets in the back panel of the corset.

I'm currently cutting fabric pieces for some ballet costumes on the floor as it's the largest flat surface I have available in this moment. Sitting on a split a la seconde it's just more comfortable to me. My ballet training still allows me to hold that position comfortably. And while working on the floor, this position will avoid me knees and back pain. So it'a kind of a win-win: I get work done and maintain my flexibility 🤣

The hunchback of costume making strikes back 😅 Cutting fabric on the floor 'cause it's the largest table I've got available at the moment.
Bonus points for splitting a la seconde: it's just easier on my body!
