Aside from the 4 sleeves patterns & mock-ups I've prepared the international structure of the vest, and added some floating canvas by hand. This is shown on the last picture with the X shaped catch stitch. Everything without a seam allowance on the vest is secured this way. I still need to prepare the sleeves, but I'm already looking forward to sewing everything together.

I will do the left hip panel, the other option isn't feeling great with a waist reducing corset.

Upcoming costume
I hope to finish it before elfia in april. This was my first event back in 2007, back then I went as a gothic bride in my second selfmade dress.
Now that the location is closing for this event I will go in mourning as a black widow.
