The colors have been hand-picked from the color palette of Crazy Kong, a Donkey Kong bootleg released in 1981. Crazy Star's arms elongate well past its knees, and it strikes a similar pose to Star's own, with a disturbingly wide smile that extends far down past her chest. The two are placed in front of a purple checkerboard pattern background, and in the top-left corner of the drawing is a low-opacity watermark reading 'art by stardestroyer81.tumblr.com'.
