Three years ago today I had open heart surgery to repair an aneurysm in my aorta which includes the installation of an artificial heart valve. So far, so good! Thanks to all the amazing doctors and nurses at the BSW Heart Hospital in Plano for taking such great care of me! #cyborglife

Back at the hospital for my X-rays of my neck. Got the curiosity question when I said "surgery" to the why question and shock finding out that my neck is a system of metal rods & screws. I shook and tilted my head from side to side much to her amazement. #cyborglife

I have now had a subcutaneous monitor installed to monitor my heart. I have been wearing a Constant Glucose Monitor for years now.
This is not the #Cyberpunk that I was promised when I was a kid, but I guess I’ll take it.
