International Asexuality Day (IAD) is a coordinated worldwide campaign promoting the ace umbrella, including demisexual, grey-asexual and other ace identities. It is an annual event celebrated on April 6 to recognise and celebrate asexuality and the asexual community. The day is intended to create awareness and understanding of the full asexual spectrum — asexual, demisexual, or gray asexual — and to celebrate the diversity of sexual and romantic orientations. It is an opportunity to recognise the contributions and diverse experiences of asexual people. The first International Asexuality Day was celebrated in 2021 and involved asexuality organisations from at least 26 countries Learn more: www.internationalasexualityday.org/en/
