#Deucalion does not have any biological siblings (that he knows of), but has found family with Kouki and has been treating him as his younger brother ever since they've met.
He has a bit of an "older brother syndrome" and likes to be a little mean sometimes, but never in a malicious way.
#Deucalion is my alt, so it's not like i didn't play other races before Viera, but he was made before EW release and originally was an Elezen man. He was farmboy-turned-adventurer from Coerthas and i made him related to Beatin from Gridania, but all of that was scrapped for Veena Deu later.

After being exposed to the electrope for the first time deep inside the Skydeep Cenote, #Deucalion 's eyes started to change. He activated his special "gift" related to his Echo and while it's not very visible from afar (and under his glasses), there's now a crosshair pattern on his irides.
incorporated in his MNK skillset (my hc is that Earth, Wind and Fire's Reply are exclusive abilities of Chi'yo since there are no other Monks at his level in the #chiokiverse canon).
#Deucalion technically can do some level of magic, but he chooses not to rely on it and only uses technology.
There's #Rico my hot-headed Bozjan boy. All he knows is how to be a soldier after growing up in an occupied land and fighting in the resistance since early years. Now he learns how to live "normally" again.

#Deucalion has always been very skinny and never liked being unable to build a nicer muscle mass, especially around his chest. He doesn't like how his bare chest looks and never really shows it around. He loves exposing his midriff, tho.
As a compromise, his wardrobe is full of various crop tops.

Finally, #Deucalion has some friends out there, but no one comes close to Kouki. There's a reason they accepted each other as brothers so quickly despite not being related in any way.

Been thinking about #Deucalion and Erenville every now and then. I weirdly find their designs to be complimenting each other and Eren seems for me to be leaning somewhere on the ace AND autism spectrum - which would be right in Deu's alley.
But it just doesn't appeal to me as a ship somehow.

Because while #Deucalion was not taken in by the Fortemps specifically, he was taken by another family when he first arrived in Ishgard. Lord Thalas and his daughter took care of him as their own relative and jumped through hoops paperwork-wise to accommodate him.

#Deucalion needs glasses for his hyperopia. He very much needs them to see well and is never really seen without them.
#Ursulin has a mild astigmatism and while it doesn't bother him during daily activities, he does need glasses for reading not to strain his eyes.
