Well done parkrunners! #DFYB #OnlyConnect
It's the parkrunners! #DFYB #OnlyConnect
One of these days I'll learn to keep my mouth shut... Facebook post went up about the rain staying away... Well the course is starting to get wet now 🤷. Trail shoes may be the right choice. #parkrun #jesmonddene #dfyb
A photograph of the sky. Most of the image is white fluffy clouds that don’t look too thick. In the top right corner, the clouds are much thinner and blue sky is visible.
*Positive thinking*
These light, fluffy clouds are clearing and it’s a lovely morning for a parkrun.
Please arrive in the park in time for the briefings, which start at 8.50am for first timers.
All are welcome, and don’t forget your barcode! #dfyb
Well Jesmond Dene is looking stunning at the moment... Might be nice to have a run around it... I wonder if that's a thing? 🤔 #JesmondDene #parkrun #dfyb
Hmmm... So everything was fine in the course, I guess that means I'll have to run 🤦. See you all soon for a fun parkrun on a Bank Holiday weekend. #JesmondDene #parkrun #dfyb
Friday morning and day 2 of 3 for back to back Jesmond Dene parkrun runs... Just found out I'm down to run tomorrow... 🤣... Slow yesterday, base run today... "Fast" tomorrow... 🤷 #jesmondDene #parkrun #dfyb
Course set up done, for those of you unlucky enough to come to Jesmond Dene today, you'll have me as your RD for the day as well 🤦 see you all soon! Ducks were swimming, but may be learning to cross paths later, stay safe ducklings! #JesmondDene #parkrun #dfyb

Fantastic #parkrun at Vicar Water County Park this morning with my friend Peter. Luckily, what goes up must come down! The gorse was amazing and smelled of coconuts, perfect running weather (bright, dry and cool), and fabulous views from the top of the hill! #LoveParkrun #dfyb
Rain, rain go away... It's the first spring 2025 running of Jesmond Dene parkrun, so of course it's rained overnight 🤣. Apart from the rain making cobbles in the edge of the paths SLICK, it's lovely out there. Cool, not cold and the birds are singing.

The scenery around Jesmond Dene never gets dull. It is great to have this as my regular run route and to share it with everyone on Saturday's for parkrun.

When people ask why I don't mind doing set up...
Course is clear and I'll be doing a presentation today...

Lovely morning at #PeckhamRyeParkrun for a South London Event Director meet up! Timekeeping for the first time ages and it all went well! #loveparkrun #dfyb
The course is all set up and is looking pretty good - what you can see of it with the mist. Should be a good day for a parkrun... #jesmonddene #parkrun #dfyb
The exotic life of a parkrun tourist. I’m in a Travelodge at Worksop with an M&S salad and a sachet of herbal tea. #DFYB

See you soon
Back to my home #parkrun -the flat and fast Storeys Field, and back to the old start location to minimise the carnage at the start. Fantastic way to start the weekend. #loveparkrun #DFYB

A lovely run at Bestwood Village parkrun this morning and two minutes faster than I did on Christmas Day! I keep telling myself hills are good for me…. #loveparkrun #dfyb

Fabulous festive parkrun at Bestwood Village to start Christmas Day. Love to see how many folk turn out to start their day like this! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🏼 #LoveParkrun #dfyb #ChristmasParkrun (before anyone tells me it’s parkrun, capitalising hashtags is better for accessibility/screen readers!)

A wonderful run at Long Eaton parkrun with Peter this morning. The first time I’ve run a full parkrun/5k for an incredibly long time. I know it doesn’t matter but it’s nice to know I can! Also bumped into the wonderful Sharon while I was there ♥️ #loveparkrun #dfyb #parkrunfriends
