A Dingy Skipper butterfly basks with open wings on a sun-bleached wooden plank. This is a small butterfly with a greyish body, and subtle brown, beige, and white patterning on its wings. The hindwings are faintly spotted, and the forewings carry a wave pattern. Its eyes are large and black, and its antennae are comparatively long, with clubbed ends.
