New campaign to tackle misuse of accessible parking bays The Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland (DDAI) is launching a new awareness campaign aimed at tackling what it describes as the ongoing misuse of accessible parking bays.

I fully support this campaign, but there seems to ALWAYS be that one person who abuses and misuses the disabled parking bays! We need people to actually be willing to follow the rules!

The under-cover parking area of a shopping centre. We're looking at a very full carpark, with two adjacent occupied disabled parking spaces. A third driver saw enough of a gap between the two parked cars, and thought it appropriate to *illegally* park theirs *in between* the two *legally* parked cars.
