There isn’t a proper #DiningCar on the VIA Rail 🇨🇦 train from #Churchill, MB. It’s the lower level of the #domecar that steps in as a diner. The meals, although just reheated on board, are surprisingly tasty. And the lounge, with its 1950s design, is a wonderful place to stretch out.

Seen in #Munich 🇩🇪 yesterday - and already several times earlier on, at the same spot: the private #Railadventure #Luxon, a former #DB #Rheingold #TransEuropExpress #TEE #DomeCar. Just five of them were built, in the 1960s. The car seems to have its home base here in Munich.
