An aquatic Draik: a type of draconic Neopet that is usually winged. This one instead sports a large fin down its back that flows into a graceful fish tail. Its white body is banded gold and purple. Additional purple fins flow alongside webbed fins for ears, and two long, catfish-like appendages drift from its nose.

And another classic: If you had asked me 20 years ago what #Neopet I'd want most of all, it would have been the incredibly rare, coveted, and downright gorgeous #Maraquan #Draik.

My friends and I would spend hours around the computer, arguing which was prettiest of the pets we couldn't afford.

A giant moon illuminates the silhouettes of crooked towers, jagged with evil-looking spikes against a nighttime sky dotted with stars. In the foreground a stone ledge bristles with grey, lifeless gargoyles, strange creatures with webbed ears, pointed tails, large claws or teeth or single eyes. A sinuous, purple dragon crawls over the statues, disappearing almost entirely against its backdrop. A silvery-grey mane sprouts between two pale horns on its forehead and travels down its spine. Smaller spikes adorn its jaw and brow and look as vicious as its claws. It sports webbed ears but no wings.
