The sleeve seams on a knitted color work cardigan. The seam positioned on the left shows neat stitches and the seam on the right shows inconsistent and messy stitches due to improper technique picking up stitches for the sleeve.

The sleeve cut off or a knitted color work cardigan.

I finished the second sleeve and realized that I made a mistake in the way I picked up the stitches for the first sleeve.

The mistake is bad enough that I decided to start the sleeve over.

I finished the body and yokes! As well as the three needle BO for one shoulder and part of the tubular BO for the collar. (1st time doing either BO method)

This project has taken a bit of a back seat since I started my March socks. The end of the color work is in sight! And I’m excited to try button hole bands and a tubular bind off for the first time.

I made up for time lost while I was sick this week! I took advantage of the rainy Saturday by finishing the body and starting the left side yoke of my #drkheysailor cardigan, accompanied by an IT movie marathon.

Now my fingers and wrists are tired and I’m ready for bed.

The obsession grows with the garment. I’m officially 7 days in on my #drkheysailor cardigan.

My regret of my yarn choice is definitely growing, but I’m determined to make it work with this Berroco Remix Light.
