Yellow flowers on a plant of saint johns wort, Hypericum perforatum

St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a cut-and-come-again flower which is fantastic for dye foragers. I cut the top off this one a couple weeks ago, which encouraged the side shoots to flower. Now I can harvest more flowers off the same plant. #naturaldye #foraging #selfsufficiency #dyeplants

Woad, Isatis tinctoria. The two plants in the corner have given a good growth these last cooler days. They are ready to be put in pots or directly in the ground... I don't know yet.
