That's my worry, all this churn is one step further again from the elegance of a carefully crafted #EA2010 that has served society as a whole; successfully for 15 years. Forcing people who would otherwise casually bully &/or exclude to hurt; to document their rationale that may be used in evidence!

I found it very challenging and sadly with each new court challenge it's opaque layer upon oppaque layer of arguably prejudicial opinion taking us ever further away from elegance of #EA2010 It remains in place delivering 15 full peaceful years of gentle, pragmatic integration with mutual respect.

Government could wake up & understand they are not compelled to do anything. Leave #EA2010 as it is; stop tinkering with our society on lobbyists/"Christian" falsehoods. The elegant way is to set aside the #SupremeCourt ruling for a fully integrated society. Reinforce #EA2010 as it stands. It's never been a problem in 15 years of use. We've worked by minor tweaks & loads of common decency with one another. Tolerance is a core lesson for kids to be happy with peers.

I have to believe they're applying the due and very careful diligence that the #SupremeCourt so patently dodged to accord with Falkner's world view. I pray they provide the clarity everyone needs. I maintain #EA2010 remains the best of "us" for a decent inclusive society that welcomes difference.

Supreme Court ruling suggests the whole of #EA2010 was predicated on "biological" sex, (disputed) & the likes of #SexMatters & #EHRC Reindorf are muscling in, in advance of government introducing reformed guidance with legal action suits [like reverse SLAP suits] to frighten services to change.

I reckon the plan is to challenge the ECtHR so they can fake up a #Brexit style "taking back control, cut your own throats" con here.

That's interpretation in retrospect. It's why the #SupremeCourt refused intervention on their deliberations by qualified transgender participants in the drafting of #EA2010 who knew direct information on the nuances inbuilt to keep an evolving society functioning properly & successfully for 15yrs.
