A small dark brown cat is hiding in a border in spring mostly a textural display of greens flowers are dotted around occasionally the majority of these are dandelion which is in the grass in the foreground. Some tiny red flowers that we got from a neighbour years back and that always come back add welcome colour in the border. I recognise the fennel plant and there is borage too not flowering yet and phlox this one a pinky sort of colour aliums not yet in bloom also make up the background against the fence which is painted a soft grey. In the midst of the border is a blackcurrant bush in blossom it's blossom is not very exciting pink but not seen at this distance, this is where the cat sits under this bush. It is Carina Sleekman a dark brown powerfully built but tiny cat. It's her garden by extension of it being her house.
