During the COVID pandemic I stumbled across a replica Eiffel Tower in my neighbourhood in Berlin and started mapping them

Sometime this winter I’ll update this #EiffelTowers map - if you know a tower I’m missing let me know!

(Mr Escudero, former mayor of this village, is widely credited with turning LaJ into a cowboy town, full of truck stops and brothels. And now #EiffelTowers!)

I’ve been working on this on and off for months now, but I *think* my research listing the world's #EiffelTowers is for the moment complete

467 towers in my list (of which status unknown 31, and destroyed or never built 42)

Of the rest, 268 are to be found in Google Street View, 126 are not

Europe has a *lot* of replica #EiffelTowers

And yes, Ukraine has more towers per head of population than anywhere else - by a considerable distance

The ones I am confident still stand - whether shown in Google Street View or not - are now mapped. 365 towers
