I'm hoping to be out at the #teslatakedown event at #ElectrifyExpo. One thing I'd like for the takedown organizers to do is to have signs outlining the benefits of other EVs over Tesla, to round out the prospective owner encouragement away from Tesla.

His $130 billion stake in Tesla is the cornerstone of that influence. That’s why protests have targeted the company every week since February. Every Tesla sale — and every brand showcase like Electrify Expo or car commercial on the White House lawn — helps sustain his divisive power. For over a decade, Elon Musk has positioned himself as a champion of clean energy/electric vehicles and a visionary for climate-friendly transportation. Yet he’s chosen to align himself with a regime openly hostile to climate action, enacting sweeping policies that jeopardize EV adoption, empower the fossil fuel industry, and harm our planet. With stakes this high, everyone with leverage must use it. Disassociating from Tesla would send a clear message: extremism has consequences. We urge you to remove Tesla as an exhibitor. Doing so would affirm that sustainability is inseparable from justice, privacy, and democracy - and show that Electrify Expo stands for more than just product promotion. Action: Please let us know by June 20 whether you have rescinded Tesla’s invitation. We've alerted members of the press - they are tracking this request and we’d like to follow up accordingly.
