The left half of the front leaf on the embroidered Lenten Rose now has some lighter hues of green, which add dimension and make it more like the reference image.

Update on my Silk Shading module for the Royal School of Needlework Certificate. I finished the leaf in the front.

Originally the left half of the leaf was too dark but I added in some lighter hues to give it dimension.

Decided to scrap the wooden butterfly. It was too much for my hands. After this kit I’ll relearn cross stitch so I have some range, but I’ll work on this in the meantime #embroiderywip
