โcells switched on a set of genes that act as natural brakes on the MAP kinase pathwayโฆWhen the researchers turned off these โbrakesโ, the cells quickly lost their pluripotency and began showing signs of becoming specialized cell typesโ

Absolutely.
In this spirit, we should also include Mice (Mus musculus) and multiple other rodent species, Annual killifish (Austrofundulus limnaeus), European roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) and the
Ground cricket (Allonemobius socius).

Not just the Eastern Greys, all kangaroo species (including wallaroos and euros) exhibit #EmbryonicDiapause except for the Western Greys (according to the Australian National University).
The photo shows a group, mob, herd, troop of kangaroos (five of which in frame) of varying sizes on a wet grassy area next to a paved road. In the foreground, the road is dark gray and appears to be wet from rain, with a small puddle visible on the left side of the image. The grass on the roadside is short and green, with a few bare patches visible. The kangaroos are arranged in a loose group, with some facing the road and others facing away. They are all standing on their hind legs, with their tails extended behind them. The kangaroos are various shades of brown, with some having lighter fur on their undersides. They range in size from a smaller, presumably younger kangaroo on the left side of the image to a larger, presumably older kangaroo in the center of the group. The larger kangaroo has a more muscular build and a longer tail. In the background, a silver SUV (partially black out) is seen parked on the grass behind the kangaroos. A wooden fence with vertical slats is visible behind the SUV, and a small tree is on the left side of the image.

Australia.
Sometimes the roomours are true blue.
DYK Female Eastern Greys have an amazing adaptation called #EmbryonicDiapause?
This means they can delay the development of an embryo until conditions are favourable.
e.g. until LNP scrap SM ban & kids charged as adults plan
