You can hear the snow cascading off of the branches above... as a male Ladder-backed Woodpecker meditates during a break in the storm while clinging to a spot in dappled light on a Ponderosa Pine tree with his eyes mostly closed and his floof fully on, staying warm and dry under a large branch.
