sharp wood sides

touching wall to wall
leaping, safety, memories

holding my face, stained
holding my body, cool
entwined with my simple bed

#Wild are the grasping vines that #entwine my will and flower contradictions of spirit. We plod under the solid #oak and maple, contemplating the way to break free. So weary we come and go in the dimness of time. I want only to soar over their canopy and beyond dreams.
