#OTD 20 Jan 1919 50899 Trooper Cyril Clark 2/1 East Riding Yeomanry died of appendicitis in Hull Royal Infirmary.
He joined the #ERY 31 Aug 1914 (no. 1475) aged 20 but for reasons unclear he was discharged 57 days later (27 Oct 1914). 1/2

Sherman Vc ‘Spitfire’ from ‘A’ Squadron, East Riding Yeomanry, 27th Armoured Brigade, reverses onto LST361 at Gosport, 1st June 1944. Fitted with wading stacks and interestingly, the 17pdr is covered with a tarpaulin.
