Among the most modest #wildflowersseeninuk recently on my #exercisewalk #fromhome - so lucky to live in #TheBrecks: 3 Speedwells - Spring (Veronica verna), Breckland (V. praecox), Fingered (V. triphyllos).

Plus a more showy #Breckland star, Grape Hyacinth (Muscari neglectum).

Our House Martins are back!
Rosa primula just out, fragrancing the balmy breeze as I left the garden for my evening #exercisewalk.
Chiffchaffs no longer have the warbler airwaves to themselves; Blackcaps & Willow warblers too shouting out their arrival. #CavenhamHeath #MyWalk 1/4

Yup, it's rape time again, that annual barrage of OTT sweet-scent-laden yellow.

Gosh, last year's Vipers Bugloss (Echium vulgare) still in flower amongst this year's crop of White Deadnettle (Lamium album). Also my 1st Bugloss (Anchusa arvensis) of the year.

Blackthorn blossom so ohvurr! Next fashion: leaves; then sloes.

Star-of-Bethlehem (Ornithogalum umbellatum ssp campestre) spreading out to the fitful sunshine. Much cooler on #EasterMonday than over the #EasterWeekend heatwave. The NE wind too nippy to dally for long from the exercise component of #MyWalk.

Our Crab Apple doing its thing as I left the garden for #MyWalk #FromHome #DailyExercise.
Of the same hue, Common Storksbill (Erodium cicutarium) on the village green.
