It helps a lot during #EYDC since I often I don't watch a currently airing drama. So the year tracker helped me say things like "I love this 2019 #kdrama that I watched in 2025"
#EYDC Day 29: A drama I’m looking forward to? I’ve been burned/disappointed so often by great actors not being able to save poor writing/production decisions but #CanThisLoveBeTranslated
has me curious and the IU/Byeon Woo-seok match-up in #PerfectCrown sounds fun
Day 26 #eydc
Most disappointing drama was #TastefullyYours. I really really wanted to love it because we never get a straight-up romance with Kang Haneul. Sigh.
Day 20: A drama that made you sad or cry
You may or may not believe this, but I cried for #ShadowLove during the last episode.
#EYDC 2025
Poster for the kdrama Cinderella Game. A woman in black with her hands covered in black oil tilts the chin of a younger woman. Text is in Korean.
Day 15: Favorite drama poster of 2025
This is probably silly, but it was actually the one for #CinderellaGame, which was a makjang that ended up being pretty entertaining.
The poster looks way more sexy than the show actually was, but it definitely caught my eye.
#EYDC
Day 14: A writer or director who caught your attention.
The only one who really got on my radar was Thai director Nuchy Anucha, and that's because #BurnoutSyndrome and #NotMe have a very specific vibe I enjoy.
#EYDC
Day 13: A drama you found boring.
#TheDarkDice bored me to tears after the first game, but I ended up finishing it.
Also, #TheDivorceInsurance, which I dropped. Love Lee Dong Wook but I think I prefer him in action dramas.
#EYDC
Day 12: A platonic relationship you loved
Some may say "platonic" is questionable, but I'm going with Eun Su and Lee Gyeon (James) from #WalkingOnThinIce. They were so chaotic, had great chemistry, and were loyal to each other in a weird toxic way that I loved!
#EYDC
#EYDC Day 11 Something new
Onggi and fermentation of soy sauce in Love Next Door and Haenyeo in Our Blues
Day 11: A drama that taught me something new.
#WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines was my first intro to the Haenyeo Divers of Jeju. I read more articles on them and learned more about the history and culture.
#EYDC
#EYDC Day 11: Something new.
Gonna go cheesy. I feel like I learn something new - about the workplace, law, policing, gender, education, grief, capitalism, family - with every drama.
I know better than to think #Kdrama = Real Life. But you learn a lot abt a culture thru what entertains its people.
Day 9: Did you watch older dramas in 2025?
A few, but not many. I went through a phase of watching a bunch of old Taiwanese BLs when I was in vacation as well as a few older Thai ones, but it's usually hard to fit older dramas in with the new stuff.
#EYDC
Day 5 #eydc
Uh, sad to say I didn’t watch a visually beautiful 2025 drama. But a new-to-me-in-2025 drama was #Kingdom so it will have to count. Everything this drama did was so well done, including the cinematography.
Day 4 #eydc
Fav OST from a 2025 drama is Back Packer from #StudyGroup. Definitely the most memorable for me.

#EYDC #kdrama a drama I will rewatch in future
I am already planning to rewatch #LightShop coz I now I know how it ends and just wanna watch it again to see how the initial episodes feel
Also I might rewatch #LovelyRunner a lot too 💞
#EYDC #kdrama most watched genre has to be time travel romance solely based on what I watched and enjoyed the most!
The Mobster crew from Korean Drama My Sweet Mobster
D8 #EYDC standout 2nd character
Cheating a little here:
Day 6 #EYDC - Dramas Dropped -
Green Door - Taiwanesedrama
Prison Playbook - Kdrama
Tunnel - Thaidrama
#EYDC D6 a drama I dropped. This is the one I am scared to post because drama fans sometimes don't know how to act, but...
-Queen of Tears (immediately turning off notification)
D4 #EYDC Favorite OST can't think of one but if I suddenly remember one it would probably belong to Lovely Runner.
#EYDC D3 (late)Nam Yoon Su is my #1. He very caringly executed his role in Love In the Big City. Would love to see more of him.
#EYDC Day 18: Best scene in a kdrama — end of DP2, Ep 3 (Curtain Call), when Nina runs to the bridge, and Joon Ho and Ho Yeul find them. Heartbreaking. Perfectly shot. That entire episode is a marvel.
#EYDC Day 17: Hardest yet. Best actor in 2023 kdrama — going to give it to Lee Je Hoon whose array of comedic characters in Taxi Driver (1 & 2) sometimes make you forget Kim Do Gi’s fierceness. Lots of competition here — from DP m and The Glory. But haven’t seen much love for Taxi Driver.
