I think the black and white photo was in the newspaper too but donβt see it with this batch of stuff. Everyone should digitize their #familyarchives. I love #Everpresent and am a drop off spot in central #Delaware. The #Kodakbrownie film

A philatelist's dream! Digitised a farm Minute Book including 1940s wage stamps (precursor to PAYE system)! Such a colourful part of our #history - watch this space for a blog post all about them! And 'yes' I did collect stamps as a child haha. #stamps #nz #philatelist #genealogy #familyarchives

OTD in 1917 my great aunt, Annie Cole, married Albert Barnes at the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in Sawtry, Cambs. She was 28 years old, and Albert was two years younger.
Albert was a farmer and small holder. They had no children. Annie died in 1965, and Albert a year later.

Black-and-white newspaper clipping from 1941 featuring Mary Hall, my great-great-grandmother, seated with her children around her. The caption identifies the Dougherty family of Greely as pioneer settlers in Alpena County, Michigan. The photo includes seven family members dressed formally, posed in front of a stone wall. Names listed are Mrs. Mary Dougherty (center), Mrs. Fred Beal (left), Mrs. Irwin Keegan (right), and standing behind them: John Dougherty, Esther OβNeil, Irene Cousineau, and Charles Dougherty.

A woman stands outdoors in front of a palm tree and small fruit tree, wearing a yellow short-sleeved top and white pants. A photo of two women in their twenties walking arm in arm down a pavement, each carrying a book. Dressed in dresses and blazers, with bobbed hair.
#OTD in 1898 my great aunt, Jessie Mingay, was born in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
She is noted as a dressmaker in the 1921 census, and 1939 register. She never married and died in January 1982.

AI-generated photo of two kids in a cozy living room. One boy, seated in a leopard-print chair, looks dramatically bored while holding a photo. Next to him, a girl laughs heartily while holding up an old baby picture. Behind them is a red bookshelf with framed family photos and a potted plant.
