Wrap-up!
I had a very busy month, so I struggled with keeping up with the prompts. But it was very productive and worth it. I was able to complete, I think, seven or eight chapters. So a few thousand words total. And I have been working on teaching myself to draw which is fun.

31. Wrap-up: I changed approach to dev. edit. Found inconsistencies early in MC’s arc. Found lots of help pondering various prompts on here and preparing #WIPSnips. This actually is constructive use of time. 😅 No closer to knowing when the book will be ready.

Monthly Wrap-up: We’re in the home stretch when it comes to the novelette reprints! “Hanging at Crosbhothar” is done and just about ready for pre-orders, while “The Gale at Quiet Cove” and “The Skull in the Tree” just need covers and proofs.

This has been an…interesting month. “The Bird with Antlers” feels further away than it did just a few weeks ago. Maybe that’s not necessarily a bad thing though.

I have no aspirations of being a “writer”. Meaning, I don’t want to become the next King. But it is that…

This month, I finished the 1st draft of Book 6 of my Oracle of Delphi series WIP, and began outlining Book 7.

I read 10 books, 4 of which were indie.

My free promo moved 1300+ copies of books. And I sold two. 🤷‍♀️ I'll take what I can get.

I met many but not all of my writing and editing goals, participated in a couple online events. And my play premiered. All in all, not a bad month.

Productive month. I joined itch.io. "The Jinxed Pirate" got a nice review from @thebookwyrmshoard2.bsky.social

And I'm trucking along on my WIP at a decent pace. Still a way to go, but it feels good to go through a chapter & finally say "Done."

#31 I've thoroughly enjoyed sharing bits of The Forever Bridge and Not the Final Girl here this month.

Next month, I'll make current versions of the first chapters of those books available on my Patreon.

No sales this month, but on the bright side, I'm almost done with the first draft of Ballad's End! With luck, I may be able to get it edited and ready for publication by the end of the year or early 2026.

Added a few more words to Dystopian WIP but due to injury I haven’t gotten too much work done.
