Grey-green leaves and stems of Common Cudweed, seedheads brownish, in the sun, growing abundantly in cracks of paving.
#FavouriteFind is always the latest. Delighted this week to see so much Common Cudweed, Filago vulgaris (in the cracks at the Holloway Estate, London. In my experience this plant is quite localised and not exactly common, and I get a bit excited . . . . #WildflowerHour

For #WildflowerHour, my #FavouriteFind this season has been Twiggy Mullein, an uncommon species from the brecks. Identified with help from friends at the Norfolk Flora Group.

But a close 2nd #FavouriteFind of the year has to be this huge plant of the exceptionally rare Welsh Groundsel. growing on a pavement in Chirk. Has been great to get to know this species through surveys for @speciesrecovery #WildflowerHour

Terrible photo for #wildflowerhour #favouritefind sorry but been driving past on the roadside, no idea what they were. Pulled over just now to grab a poor flash photo of what looked like a snapdragon and PictureThis IDs as common toadflax. New to me! Definitely not common round here.
