Published by Valentine & Sons Ltd, Dundee & London, Valentine's Series, not numbered. Postally used on 5 October 1907 with double circle Bridgnorth cancellation on red one penny stamp and sent to Miss Jeffrey, 3 Palatine Avenue, Albert Road, Withington, Manchester. Good condition, with slight corner bumps, but small crease to top left corner.

The fabulous 'Peninne Tower' at M6 'Forton' Services near Lancaster. A former restaurant which closed in the late 80s due to failing modern fire regulations. When travelling North it's a welcome sign that I'm 15 minutes from home.

Looking up at the marvellous Forton service station as seen from a moving car. The underside of the hexagonal concrete tower appears golden as it catches the setting low sun & the sky is a clear light blue which is reflected in its many windows.
