Meet Priscilla, my first crocheted hyperbolic pseudosphere (brain coral). So much fun with this freeform - love changing shape on the fly. She's just the size of my palm (3 rows dc) but I want to go bigger and try out different increases and borders. 🧶

So I'm working myself up to actual freeform crochet with baby steps - trying things out with a project that utilizes some freeform techniques. The pattern, #loveyourselfmandala, is from Louisa Sheward (available for purchase on Ravelry); the three colors used are all size #1 Rainbow 8/4 100% cotton yarn from Hobbii. Turned out bigger than I thought it would, being about 7.5" across at its widest point.

Wings and tail seem to be just two or three feathers. The first bird is green with purple wings and tail, the second is orange with red wings and tail, the third bird is yellow with aqua wings and tail (and a rounder body) and the last bird is purple with aqua wings and tail.

I'm pretty proud of the #FreeformCrochet blanket I made based on an idea by Kirsti Hallamaa.
I also like how the Very Hungy Caterpillar playset turned out. I used the peacock butterfly pattern by Lalylala / Lydia Tresselt.
Ball of light purple yarn and a pink handled crochet hook suit alongside 2 pieces of freeform crochet. No patterns to follow, no lines, just add stitches where you feel like it and use increases/decreases to try and keep your finished piece flat.
I pulled out last year's #TourDeFleece yarns added a few other scraps to the box and decided to give freeform crochet a go.

I'm listening to A Wrinkle in Time on Libby, and listening to the tesseract portion made me think: it's a lot like #freeformcrochet. The dimensions building upon each other by being squared is how crochet works by pulling a string into intricate creations. No wonder folks say handwork is witchcraft.

16 gehäkelte patches. in der Mitte jedes patches ist eine schwarze Katze, die schwarzen Katzen sind unterschiedlich groß und haben unterschiedlichen Körperbau u. Körperhaltung. umrandet - um zu einer eckigeren Form zu gelangen werden sie jeweils von lauter unterschiedlichen blauen, grünen und braunen Farbtönen.
