Unusual bi & trifurcated frond tips on Christmas fern.

This very unusual Christmas Tree Fern (Polystichum acrostichoides) has bi-& trifurcated frond tips. Common in Eastern NA, moist woodlands. Took a double take on this one.
Anyone else seen one?
