The tulips in these bulb lasagnes are supposedly Abu Hassan but at this point I’m doubtful. I’ve pretty much tried all online bulb suppliers & everyone has let me down by supplying at least one variety wrongly. When you spend lots of time choosing it’s v frustrating. #gardening #gardeninglife

I’ve had these Crown Imperials in the same pots as my Sarcococca out on my display tables. They’re just coming into flower. They’ve been in the pots for 3 years so the flowers aren’t as large as they might be but quite nice nevertheless. #gardening #gardeninglife #gardenersworld

This afternoon’s gardening job was to reconstruct my obelisks after painting then take down the old trellis that sat behind the deck, move the odd plant, plant two new clematis to add to the two already there then place the new obelisks in place. #gardening #gardeninglife

Side-by-side comparison of two young tomato plants in a garden bed. The left plant is wilted with curled, darkened leaves showing heavy damage, while the right plant is upright with fresh green growth and healthy leaves. Both are planted in soil with small weeds and backed by a concrete wall and wire support.
Had a late free pass over us. I almost covered the tomato plants, but a mixture of ADD and rose-colored glasses stopped me. I’m disappointed, but trying to celebrate those that survived.
3 out of 15. Should be some damn strong tomatoes.
