Not to be confused with Giganotosaurus, #Gigantosaurus "The Giant Lizard" was assigned to at least 4 distinct sauropod genera in both Europe and Africa. However, none of these names are considered valid anymore which makes "Gigantosaurus" a nomen dubium (an invalid, dubious name). #paleontology
