4 panel Final Fantasy XIV "comic", set before Dawntrail MSQ, featuring my Warrior of Light Shine Aurex and Granson Ketchthane in an established relationship. The coloring is monotone for the most part.
Top left panel:
Shine is holding out her hand with a little glowing charm crafted by herself and imbued with her own aether, akin to a summon on a small scale. She’s giving it to Granson, saying "Before I leave for Tural, I’d like you to have this little charm.”
Top right panel:
A close up of the charm – a Topaz colored carbuncle, standing out against the monotone color scheme of the rest of the piece – in Granson's hand, faintly glowing with aether.
Shine continues, saying, "It’s also a small bit of my aether… it is a little silly (as a wearable, at least…) but this was the best way to make sure it holds up even if I’m not arou-”
Bottom left panel:
Granson grabs her gently, pulling her into a one-handed embrace, saying "Shine. I love it. Thank you." She is visibly flustered at the sudden contact.
Bottom right panel:
Shine gives in to the embrace, laying her head on Granson's shoulder, sighing, "I'm glad."
Granson then says "Stay safe, will you, sinner? …and don’t overdo it like last time." alluding to the events following Endsinger back in Endwalker*
To which Shine chuckles, knowing she's probably going to be going through some crazy things again, but says "I'll try my best."
*Shine was extremely reckless and went back to the First even before recovering fully after the fight due to a promise made to Granson at the visit to the First during the Final Days.
