This photo shows another zucchini forming in one of our grow bags. Grow bags are cheap to buy, around four Canadian dollars each, at a Dollar Store. You can also use large reusable grocery bags, which are cheaper, but not as strong. The dark to light green zucchini with white speckles is growing from the base of one of the yellow zucchini flowers. It is surrounded by green zucchini leaf stems. The grow bag blue green material is visible to the left of the zucchini. Also grass mulch is visible beneath the zucchini. Using grow bags has advantages. You can move plants around to get optimum sun and weeding is a breeze.

Found a zucchini ready to eat and one on its way in a few days. A few more are forming, so we should have a good crop of them this year. We may do a lot more with grow bags. The plants can be moved around to give optimum sun/shade and they're patio friendly.

I am horrible at thinning because I cannot get myself to rip out and kill a perfectly healthy plant 🌱 This may be a huge mistake but I will attempt to grow 2 tomato plants in this grow bag 🍅 Or maybe try and remove one and replant it in its own container.
