I've been looking into these issues for a few weeks now, and I've heard back on a lot of the ins and outs, how they've been implemented, maintained (or not) and how they're just overall going. Needless to say, based on a lot of feedback and real world experience on these roads, l'm bringing forward a motion soon to council to pause any and all new infrastructure of bike lanes where it takes out any existing lanes of automobile traffic on collector or arterial roads (not including downtown core) or when it comes to limiting on-street parking. I'm investigating the newly created Scottsdale bike lanes to see if there is the possibility of them being removed, and re- evaluating the impacts on Silvercreek too. I am disappointed that mayor #CamGuthrie of #Guelph is asking #DougFord to use the notwithstanding clause to SUSPEND the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Just so he can wield police violence to clear unhoused people from their encampments.
