平成初期〜2000年代前半くらいの匂いやカルチャーが好きなので📼VHS風演出の話をします。
カウボーイビバップ第18話「スピーク・ライク・ア・チャイルド」で、子供時代のフェイが未来の自分宛てにビデオレターを撮っていて、それを現代のフェイ（子供時代の記憶を失っている）がみて、それが何なのかはっきりわからないのに泣きそうになるシーンで終わるシーンがとても好きです。記憶喪失でそれがなにかはわからないけれど、なにか懐かしい大切なものであることを感じとるフェイと、現実味を感じない遠い過去を見ているようなポカンとしたスパイク達の表情の違いが印象的で。
