I can't draw for shit, but needed to get something visual to work from. I'm starting with my trusty #HinterlandDress pattern.
Pivoting the darts to make a princess seam. Will add a double circle skirt and start layering and embellishing from there

Finally finished up these 5 Hinterland dresses. All are made from linen.

Finishing the bodice for another #hinterlanddress. I forgot to cut the pieces on the fold and had to adjust it by making a center seam so I wouldn’t waste fabric. My next project is going to the the McCalls7948, version C. I’ve not made a pattern by McCalls before!#garmentsewing #sew

Any French seam experts or dabblers out there?! I’m attempting to attach the bodice to the skirt for my #hinterlanddress It feels so wrong to gather on the right side, but I’m going to try it!
