Out & about in #Edinburgh on #Hogmany, had a wee tea-time walk through the posh area of #Stockbridge.
For those unfamiliar, this part of town is just 1/3 mile or so north of the city centre which, on NYE is arguably its busiest day. This oasis of serenity was much appreciated…by man & beast alike!

Tomorrow is #Hogmany in our house even though I’m #Welsh. It’s the Scots word for the last day of the old year & the celebrations that follow. Mum keeps the tradition of her #Scottish home. She gifts Dad shortbread, so he never goes hungry, coal so he’s always warm & salt so he always has wealth.
