The trail passes by a large tree that has fallen and gotten wedged in the air between several other trees.

A break in the overgrowth reveals a view to the distant shore covered in evergreens. Close by is a patch of undergrowth and fallen trees.

A large tree that has snapped in half witht the broken half laying across the lower frame. Surrounding it are mostly evergreen trees and green ferns. One deciduous tree in the center has started its fall transformation, adding contrast to the photo.
